Beautifully crafted 3D printed prosthetic leg cover in the form of athletic leg muscles

Similar to Pixar's famous ability to turn cold machinery into warm and lovable characters, designer Tomáš Vacek, founder of Studio Vacek, has transformed the typical rod-like prosthetic leg into a muscly, body-friendly extension.

The refined shape of the customizable 3D printed cover beautifully captures the form of athletic leg muscles. The shape, together with the perforated surface, is intended to perfectly express a more human personality and fit to the lifestyle of the person for whom the cover is designed.

The cover is fixed to the leg prosthesis in a uniquely innovative way using high strength magnets. While this mechanism firmly holds the two parts of the cover together, fixing and removing the cover takes only a few seconds.

Customized, fashionable style and sophisticated functionality of the fairing gives the prosthetic device a brand new, human-like dimension.
