My Pussy, My Rules: House Of Holland Resort 2015

Neon colors, a menagerie of animal prints, and straight yet sexy silhouettes define this season's wild collection from House of Holland. By combining cues from classic resort wear with a hint of 60's surfer vibe, Resort 15 celebrates a summer of phosphorescent love.

Henry Holland, the blogger Brit behind his eponymous fashion house, gained notoriety with his 80's inspired tee's emblazoned with cheeky design denizen rhymes. He's since (mostly) moved on from style icon irony, but that signature sense of serious playfulness has not been lost in this bold collection of sophisticated evening wear and sleek bathing suits.

Animal friendly snake skin and tiger stripes abound in Resort 15, co-existing beautifully in a tropical color pallet of blues, pinks, and greens.  Fitted capris pair with boxy tops and simple short sleeve dresses reinvent themselves in a variety of lengths and patterns.  Ultra-modern layered looks and shiny button up shirts are found amongst furry platform shoes and skin tight sweater sets, and plunging Saturday Night Fever necklines give one piece bathing suits sultry character.  This vibrant collection also features an alluringly androgynous, striped denim-style jacket that could have been plucked from a young Mick Jagger's closet, and a long sleeved velvet mini-dress in classic leopard print that is, quite simply, perfection.

Within the fiercely mod manifesto of Resort 15, a gem of a jacket pays homage to Holland's roots in the word-play game: puffy enough for Missy and brazen enough for Minaj, the elaborately 80's bomber-style coat is not for the faint of heart, but nicely embodies the decadently sexy impact of this luxe collection.
