Ryohei Hase, the Tokyo based artist, taps into natures wild in his latest collection of paintings. Hase says that his work “expresses the darkness of the mind which is sad and gloomy, but at the same time, it’s beautiful and strong.”

This collection is a masterpiece, the true intricacy of Hase’s work can only be understood when you are face-to-face with the man v. beast  paintings. The unsaid narrative of the art takes you to a chaotic place that seems so far from reality, but at the same time, so close.
