A Whole Lot of Personality
Russian Architect and designer Sergey Makhno has composed this fantastic apartment in Kiev, Ukraine’s capital city. The apartment is full of life and personality, a rightful mix of modern decor with traditional charm. The ‘canvas’ of the apartment is traditional paneled walls painted with a whimsical blue, large crown molding, and wood planked floor. The ‘paint’ on the ‘canvas’ is an array of colorful and quirky design accents such a rainbow colored light fixtures and a tree trunk coffee table, and art hanging in an unorthodox patterns. The apartment is warm and inviting but the design causes the eye to bounce from one item to the next making the space dynamic and exciting at the same time.
