T & F SLACK SHOEMAKERS GO TO THE DERBY
Tim and Fiona Slack, founding designers of T & F Slack Shoemakers are not new to the shoe scene. Back in the 70′s this design duo was the first to move away from the huge platform look and kick started a sophisticated and tailored dress shoe trend; reviving British classics with a unique mixture of color. These days, T & F Slack are launching their latest collection called The Derby. The Derby, otherwise known as The Gibson, refers to a style of shoe where the laces are sewn on top of the vamp, “open lacing.” In this collection the shoes come with two different types of soles, a lightweight micro sole in a range of different colors, or stitched leather soles.
