STAAT DESIGNS BOLS GENEVER

Staat decided to raise the bar for duty free shops at airports all over the world with their Schiphol Airport Bols Genever experience shop. The “experience” begins with a die-cut facade constructed of steel rod which are crossing at all sorts of diagonals. Contrasting to most stark white airports, this shop is dimly lit and dark.

The design sets a mood within the space that allows patrons to forget about the airport chaos and zone into the world of Bols Genever. The product is shown in display cases made of various types of glass, antique brushed steel, and stone giving the space a raw edge.
