Gustavo Lins is a formally educated Architect from Brazil. It wasn’t until a wise architecture professor of his started questioning his choice of mediums, did he realize that he should be constructing clothes, not homes. Lin’s architectural vocabulary speaks volumes in his fashion collections. The designer took menswear connoisseurs by storm with his latest collection using leather-piped wool shirts and jackets, paper-thin leather tunics, clean-lined drap de laine wool coats, and draped wool jersey sweaters pulling together such basic materials and using them in a sophisticated and elegant way.
