Last week, the boutique eyewear company, Mykita, opened it’s sixth store, this time, in Tokyo. The store is housed in the basement section of a two-storey building, tucked away in the boutique-infested labyrinth of little streets, just south of Omtesando Dori. The design of the store has Mykita’s signature front-to-back presentation wall, comprising of an assembly of perforated steel angle beads used to support heavy-duty shelving, and clever back lighting. The lit interiors pop’s out of the dark brick facade which will catch the eye of anyone nearby.
