FRIENDS WITH YOU AT MIAMI ART BASEL
If you, like many, are a little curious as to how the Friends With You exhibit turned out at Art Basel Miami here are a few photographs of the art instillation + concert event put on by Paper Magazine. The forty piece instillation was called Rainbow city, and it was installed in Miami Design District for two days of Art Basel. Tom Austin, an art correspondent describes the instillation as:
“Think 40-foot-tall inflatable “magical mushrooms,” surreal bounce houses that hold countless merrymakers, towering hot dog-shaped balloons with candy-cane stripes and performers strolling around in inflatable costume. The whole experience, according to the FWY manifesto, is meant to “capture the moment of an exploding star.”
